Local filmmaker Josh Booth and Washington state-based media production team Thriving Communities share their experiences as filmmakers working with small-businesses, nonprofits and other community-centered organizations.


Josh Booth is an Iowa City filmmaker passionate about bringing businesses and non-profits’ stories to life through commercial spots, short documentaries, and branded videos. He kicked off his career co-founding Flow Media, then mentored other startups in the University of Iowa’s Founders Club and served on the board of the African American Museum of Cedar Rapids.
