Our Work in Action
One partner film inspired $1million in new funding.
A recent Gathering connected two volunteers who collaborated on writing a successful grant.
A Gathering inspired the founding of three new organizations within that community.
By highlighting community land trusts, we connected multiple people, and as a result, more land trusts were developed.
One series of films and discussions at a Gathering led to the establishment of gardens behind a library that provided food to the community.
Several partner films led to local community screenings and collaborations.
Cross-country connections occurred when a unique community gardening concept moved from one community to another 1000 miles away.
Thriving Communities created opportunities for youth in film, and three of those students became filmmakers.
