About the event
In a world grappling with climate change, food insecurity, and a disconnection from the natural world, regenerative agriculture emerges as a method and a movement. It's a call to action, urging us to rethink how we interact with our environment, food, and each other. This evening, we delve into the heart of regenerative agriculture and its profound impact on soil, people, and communities. Â Join us for an inspiring evening of film and discussion.Â
Starting with a short documentary on the Organic Farm School, a story showcasing regenerative agriculture's journey, the evening continues with two additional short documentaries on communities across the U.S. embracing regenerative agriculture: an African American community in Ohio and a Navajo community in New Mexico.Â
Together, these films produced by Thriving Communities highlight the diverse approaches and cultural connections that enrich the practice of regenerative agriculture. Â The screenings will be followed by discussion and culminate in an informal gathering at Zech Hall, where attendees can enjoy small bites and a no-host bar, fostering community and continued conversation. Â Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired by the potential of regenerative agriculture to nurture the community.
